Instructions for proofing comments for the 3rd Quarter all student comment period:
1. Login to FA Web
2. Click the Reports Tab across the top
3. Under the General Tab, make sure you check Q3-Mid, Run for Advisees, and set the Report Type to Summary
4. Click the Students tab which is located two tabs to the right of the General tab.
5. In Students to include, select "Selected." Check the students for whom you are running comments for.
6. Next click the Format tab-make sure you select "Include Marking Column Comments."
7. Next click the Preview tab-it will take a minute or two for the reports to load.
8. When the reports do load, click on one bit of text in the window with all of the comments. Do a Ctrl>A or Apple>A to select all of the text and then do a Ctrl>C or Apple>C to copy.
9. Open up your word processor or email program and do a Ctrl>P or Apple>P and the text will be pasted.
10. I would challenge you to copy paste individual comments into an email directly to the instructor with suggestions for edits instead of printing the comment and placing it in their mailbox.
